Midnight Club II builds on the illegal street racing fun found in the PS2 launch title Midnight Club. Like that game it pits you against street toughs in non-linear street races, all for bragging rights and access to better and more sophisticated rides. New in Midnight Club II are the police and the ability to drive a motorcycle.

The game begins with you in the charge of a slob named Moses. He acts as tutor, teaching you how to control your beater car and how to use power-ups, as well as offering overall moral support. He teaches you how to go about the business of the game: earning new gear such as Nitrous Oxide, new cars, and even new controls. The award of new controls later in the game show how you're a novice driver at the start but by the end you're a pro who can land on all four wheels after a jump, expertly control a power slide turn, and much, much more.

Borderlands : The Zombie İsland Of Dr Ned

Borderlands was a brilliant game and one that I have been playing since it was released. The Zombie Island Of Dr. Ned is the first downloadable content for the game which only costs $10. For this you get a whole new zone as well as new enemies, new missions and chances to get more equipment and loot. The Island is very dramatic in design with a sub horror ‘halloween feel’ to it, populated with a plethora of undead zombie forces.

The original Borderlands had a rather weak storyline and those who like to follow a more focused game will probably prefer the expansion pack as it has a very definite story arc -hunting down undead forces and running through the macabre and eerily lit environments. What appealed to me about this add on was the tongue in cheek approach which at times made cultural references to many aspects of modern life. The zone is accessible from the fast travel menu and as such is total separate from the main game as it doesn’t connect into the Vault Story at all.

With 2002's WWE Raw PC being the only viable Wrestling PC game around, the game filled a void for many players who could now have a real wrestling PC game. but that void lasted for six years, although there was many mods coming out, there was not yet a FULL conversion of the entire game, (WWE Raw: Ultimate Edition was aiming for this but was never released). Later RMU(Now TWR) released Raw Legend edition and Raw Total Edition which were pretty good.

Stealth is once more the name of the game in Project IGI 2. It's set against the backdrop of Russia, Libya and China's underworld and you once again play David Jones chasing military secrets across eastern Europe. Taking place over three linked campaigns, the individual missions progress in depth and skill to ease you slowly into the game. It has huge levels and plenty of bad guys that you'll have fight; you'll soon have your work cut out. Graphics have progressed from those on the original, but not really in leaps and bounds and not in line with the rest of the games in this genre. Sounds however, now play a major role in how you play. Make too much noise and the bad guys come running, guns blazing. What is new and most welcome is a multiplayer element, something that was sorely missed in the first game. The game supports up to 16 players online, but the advantage over the usual range of multiplayer games is the introduction of a cash system. If you want a weapon you'll have to pay for it and the more times you die the less cash you'll have available. This is a great tactical idea and makes you really think about respawning rather than, as usual, jumping back in and getting killed. On its own, this game offers plenty to the stealth fan. Yet with the games market now well supplied with stealth titles you can't help but think that while the original was ahead of its time, this game is a just a tiny bit late for the party. Yes, the levels are large and yes, the AI is very impressive--guards can hear you coming a mile off if you are charging around like a bull in a china shop--but it doesn't bring anything new to the genre. Unfortunately, in a genre that has been dominated by games such as Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid, anything new can't just be good, it has to be very impressive. The characters also have access to powers geared to show how you're becoming a crime kingpin with friends in high (and low) places. As you take over neighborhoods and businesses, you earn the points needed to call up these handy abilities, most of which let you alter the city in some fundamental way or call up assistance. You can use neighborhood lockdown to clear streets, street medicine to summon a medic who heals all allied units, and even airstrike to radio for a bombardment of the selected area. They generally require hefty investments in power and cash, though, and can only be used sparingly.

The setup in Escape From Paradise City is a little more original than the character design. Operating under the orders of Kovacs, you lead the three protagonists into different maps with the singular goal of beating the heck out of all of the thugs that control the streets in various neighborhoods. You gradually work your way up to a district boss ensconced in a hideout denoted with a castle icon on the map of each neighborhood, and then smack him around until he says "uncle" and agrees to let you be the new boss. Neighborhoods vary quite a bit in terms of resources, so there is a bit of strategy in your decisions about which area to attack and when. Some are pretty much barren of anything but scum hanging around the streets, whereas others are loaded with flophouse hotels that generate cash, stores where you can buy guns and armor, and bars that sell stat-enhancing booze and attract goons you can hire as henchmen.

Rarely has an action game squandered such a solid concept as Aspyr and Silverback Studios' Made Man has. Gangland shooters should be a pretty easy thing to put together at this point, yet Made Man is proof positive that with the right amount of indifference and general disdain for the game-buying public, you can still make complete dreck out of a seemingly foolproof concept. The weirdest thing is that by all accounts, Made Man shouldn't have ever come out. This is one of the last few games now-defunct publisher Acclaim had in the pipes when it went under a few years back. Now Aspyr has resurrected its unfinished corpse, yet apparently it didn't bother to have anyone fix it up beyond what was necessary to make the game install and load up. From its buggy, intensely frustrating gameplay to its near-absent production values, Made Man is a flat-out mess across every category.

The repetitive missions and devil-may-care structure make the transition intact, letting you wreak havoc on the streets if you feel like shirking your duty to save the city. Though the core mechanics are identical, what little fun that could be had by mindlessly terrorizing the people of New York has been lost in translation. The rudimentary graphics and mostly empty streets eradicate even the simple joys of causing massive chaos. By emulating the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions instead of the far superior Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, The Incredible Hulk on the PC loses what little charm there was in mercilessly destroying a city. This abject mess should be avoided by even the most diehard comic-book fans.

Hitmaker had tried to develop an on-line version of Crazy Taxi, to be called Crazy Taxi Next exclusively for the Xbox, which, besides multiplayer game modes, would have included night and day cycles, each with a different set of passengers and destinations, while reusing and graphically updating the maps from Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi 2. Ultimately, both multiplayer and day/night cycles were dropped and work on Crazy Taxi Next was transferred to Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller, which included some of the nighttime driving concepts suggested by Next.

Crazy Taxi 3 inherits the tradition of mini-games from the Crazy Taxi series. Crazy X consists of three levels, each testing a different criteria of skills e.g. Steering, use of Crazy Dash, Crazy Drift etc.

By completing all of level 1, maps of the locations are available on the menu which includes all the destinations and short-cuts. Completing level 2 will provide you with three more different types of vehicle to ride on: Stroller, Bike and Carriage.

Here are my grades for the game FIFA 09:
Graphics- 9. Very beautiful, but the consoles still get the better graphics.
Sound- 10. Excellent! The music, the commentary, the voices during the games... Great!
Controls- 8. Innovative, simpler, but still there is a lot to improve!
Longevity- 9. Will keep you busy until FIFA 2010.
Overall- 9. Very good!

Calling XIII Century: Death or Glory a poor man's take on the Total War series may seem like a condemnation of this tactical RTS with mere faint praise. But even though this compendium of great medieval battles might not be as all-encompassing as its big brothers from Creative Assembly, first-time developer Unicorn Games Studios has put together a challenging historical warfare simulation with outstanding depth. It feels a little stripped down when it comes to frills and extra gameplay options, although the game has it where it counts if all you're interested in is pitting your mettle and might against enemy generals on the battlefield.

It's a good bet that the forthcoming movie The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is going to be pretty good. Peter Jackson's cinematic trilogy, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's seminal series of fantasy novels, is, by all accounts, a huge success, and since the three films were shot back to back to back, we can expect the same kinds of dramatic performances, wondrous scenery, and sheer excitement from the final chapter of this saga that we saw in The Fellowship of the Ring and last year's The Two Towers. This movie series is uncommonly good, which is certainly, in part, why Electronic Arts, the company that nabbed the rights to produce games based on these films, is going all-out for its game adaptations. The new Return of the King game follows closely in the footsteps of last year's hack-and-slash action game, The Two Towers, but picks up at the fever pitch where The Two Towers left off, and it's considerably better overall. It's still a relatively simple and short action game at heart, but a solid combat system, some extremely intense and cinematic levels, cool extras that fans of the movies will enjoy, and the option to play cooperatively with a friend all add up to make The Return of the King deserving of its name.

The game delivered fantastic-looking, incredibly intense first-person-shooting action without any of the genre's pretenses of grandiose storytelling, all with its own unique style and for a bargain price of $20 at that. Serious Sam has made appearances a handful of other times since then, but only now has a full-fledged sequel finally arrived. The good news is that this is Serious Sam all right, packing in all the silly humor and massive shooting-gallery-style levels you'd expect from the previous games. The bad news is something's been lost in translation, perhaps due to the passing of time or due to the new 3D graphics engine, or--more likely--because of a combination of each. Serious Sam II has a lot of levels and a few good laughs, but its simple shooting action is less likely to get your adrenaline pumping as it is to make you go numb.

For shooter fans in serious need of something new to play, Area 51 fits the bill adequately. But for anyone looking for something more than an average shooter, it probably isn't worth it. Chances are, if you've ever been in a bowling alley, bar, or pizza parlor in your lifetime, you've encountered at least one Area 51 arcade machine. Originally debuting as a light gun-based shooter, the Area 51 series has been largely dormant for a number of years now. This is perhaps for a reason, considering the original game, let alone its follow-up sequels, wasn't really that great to begin with. Thankfully, Midway's latest version of Area 51 bears little resemblance to its predecessors. Now, Area 51 is a first-person shooter. The original game's titular setting has remained intact, as has its army of mutated villains. However, Midway has decided to inject some storyline into this version, as well as a smattering of Hollywood voice talent and a pretty-nice-looking graphics engine. Unfortunately, all this gussying up can't gloss over what's ultimately an average shooter that doesn't offer up more than a handful of satisfying thrills throughout its single-player and multiplayer modes.

Each weapon has its disadvantages. The gun, for example, will only have so many bullets per life, and the knife will decrease in strength with every use. During your mission, you will also earn experience points, and meet and free hostages along the way. These hostages will heal you, fix your knife, and give you a machine gun.
Some floors end with you defeating a boss, while others end at elevators. Your must reach the top of the building where you will confront the leader.

Ive been waiting for this since it was first announced at E3 since i was a huge fan of the original Monkey Island games, I just hope they dont stuff this up. Tales of Monkey Island is an upcoming adventure game being developed by Telltale Games (Who was founded by a group of ex Lucas Arts employees to focus more on adventure style games) in collaboration with LucasArts. It takes place after an imaginary fifth game in the Monkey Island series. Players take control of Guybrush Threepwood who accidentally releases a voodoo pox that spreads throughout the Caribbean. He must save the Caribbean from this voodoo pox whilst at the same time rescue his love Elaine Marley from his nemesis LeChuck. The game will be episodic, with the adventure being split into 5 parts. From July 7th they will be released on a monthly basis.
